The two-door with a soft top and a roof tent that has slept through more Valley nights than I have. Good on Tioga when it opens, better on the forest laterals that the rentals from Fresno will not take. I leave a bear canister and a paper map of the Valley in the glovebox.

Slept on Glacier Point road
The roof tent is the whole reason we booked. Wren left a note about which pullouts are actually quiet after 9. The Bronco felt planted on the granite laterals.

El Portal pickup took four minutes. Bear canister was already in the back. We did Valley, then Tioga, and never once wished for a sedan.
