Safari, then the share sheet

  1. 1. Open Lookout in Safari (Chrome on iPhone cannot install it).
  2. 2. Tap Share at the bottom of Safari.
  3. 3. Scroll to Add to Home Screen, then Add.
  4. 4. Lookout sits next to Messages. It opens full-screen, with tabs at the bottom.

Chrome, then Install app

  1. 1. Open Lookout in Chrome.
  2. 2. If you see Install Lookout, tap it — that is the real Android install prompt.
  3. 3. Otherwise: Chrome menu → Install app, or Add to Home screen.
  4. 4. It installs with the Lookout icon. Same account, same trips.

The Android install button appears in Chrome once Lookout is opened over a secure connection.

App Store & Play Store

The wrap is built. You enroll.

Apple and Google will not take a website. Lookout now has native shells (bundle id app.lookout.parks), store icons, screenshots, privacy, terms, and account deletion. iPhone compiles in the cloud — you do not need a Mac. The listings go live after your developer accounts are approved.

  • Native wrap

    iPhone and Android shells are in the Lookout project. They open the live site full-screen — same account, same trips.

  • Privacy, terms, delete account

    Required for both stores. Guests can wipe their Lookout from Account.

  • Cloud builds (no Mac)

    A GitHub Action compiles the iPhone app on Apple's cloud runners and the Android app on Linux. You never need Xcode on your desk.

  • Public Lookout URL

    Hit Publish in Grok so the store apps have a live HTTPS address to load. Then we point the wrap at it.

  • Apple Developer Program

    $99 per year at developer.apple.com/programs. Individual enrollment is enough. After it is approved, send the Team ID.

  • Google Play Console

    $25 one-time at play.google.com/console. Identity check usually takes a day or two.

Apple Developer Program

$99 per year. Enroll as an individual at developer.apple.com/programs. After Apple approves, send the Team ID. Cloud Xcode (Xcode 26) archives the wrap; TestFlight is the first install on your phone.

$25 one-time. Identity check usually takes a day or two. We upload a signed Android App Bundle (app.lookout.parks) to a testing track, then production.
