Filing a claim
How the claims desk works after a trip incident.
Sign in, open Claims, and file against a confirmed booking. Photos and a written description are enough to open a file.
Admin reviews every claim. Status moves from Filed → Reviewing → Approved or Denied.
Approved Ridge and Summit claims apply the guest responsibility first, then Lookout’s waiver up to the plan cap. Trail claims are between you and the host.
File within 48 hours of the incident, or before you return the car, whichever is sooner.
